Yeah!!! Jayden’s Junior Book Club has completed their first reading, The Toothpaste Millionaire by Jean Merrill. The first meeting was held at Pizza Hut with three of the four boys in attendance. The boys ate and began their discussions. First they talked about how they enjoyed the book, second, they discussed words they did not know from the story and lastly wrote a paragraph on how they would end the story. The next title the boys are going to read is Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. The plan is to complete the book and then go to see the movie. A personal library of great stories is well on its way to being filled!
